The Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein has set aside Oscar Pistorius' culpable homicide conviction.
The court found that Judge Thokozile Masipa had made errors in law in her ruling that saw the athlete serve just a year behind bars.
Stephen Grootes on Thursday spoke to EWN reporter Barry Bateman about the ruling that is expected to set a precedent in the criminal justice system. Criminal law expert Cliff Alexander also weighed in on the ruling.
