Stephen Grootes reflects on the year of jammed signals and parliament ejections

702/CapeTalk's Stephen Grootes reflects on what 2015 would look like if it was an image – a phone with no signal, showing a video of EFF's Julius Malema getting booted out of parliament. He notes that as one of the things that stood out for him this year.

Stephen also reflects on how quickly his children have grown and ends off with a joke his son told him – the funniest thing he has heard this year.

If 2015 was an image, it would look like a cellphone with no signal and an image of Julius Malema being thrown out of parliament.

Stephen Grootes, Host of The Midday Report on 702 and CapeTalk

What stood out for me in 2015 is how amazingly quickly my children are growing up. My son has this great joke at the moment. He’ll ask: ‘What did the O say to the 8?’ Then he starts to giggle and says, ‘Nice belt!’ Cracks me up every time he tells it!
