The Health & Other Services Personnel Trade Union of SA (Hospersa) claims that some of its members have been instructed to perform unsupervised autopsies at state facilities. The health ministry wasn't immediately available for comment.
Tessa van Staden, standing in for Stephen Grootes, spoke to forensic consultant Dr David Klatzow about the alleged malpractice.
