Dalindyebo approaches ConCourt in last move to avoid jail

AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo has applied for yet another bail extension with the Constitutional Court.

702 and Cape Talk's Ray White spoke to EWN reporter Xolani Koyana about the imminent arrest of the king, who is facing a 12-year sentence.

Listen to the conversation below:

They didn't agree with the king, they refused to appear before him when they were summoned. The king then sent people to their homes to be assaulted... a lot of their homes were torched, and we know that people lost their lives.

Xolani Koyana, EWN reporter

What the NPA said is that he has to go hand himself over to correctional services by the end of today or else the police will have to effect the committal warrant of arrest.
