Debt collection has come under the spotlight after Wesbank CEO Chris de Kock diffused reports they were tracking all of their clients' cars, to identify defaulters. De Kock was responding to a Sunday Times report making these claims. John Robbie opened the lines and had numerous responses contradicting de Kock's claims made on behalf of Wesbank. The Council for Debt Collectors CEO, Advocate Andries Cornelius has since said: 'You are under no legal obligation to give items to debt collectors'.
This is being called the biggest medical advancement in South African cardiology since Dr Chris Barnard's first heart transplant.
