An employee of the Gauteng Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation Department has deleted his Facebook account and is now facing disciplinary action after posting a racist comment.
Velaphi Khumalo took to Facebook calling on black people to ‘do to white people what Hitler did to the Jews’.
While some listeners have argued that Khumalo was responding to provocation by the likes of Penny Sparrow and Justin Van Vuuren in recent days, others have expressed that his comments are indefensible.
