What you need to know when dating a single father

Graphic designer Vus Ngxande says dating as a single father is not the nightmare that many perceive it to be.

702's Azania Mosaka on Thursday spoke to Ngxande about his perspective on the subject.

Listen to the interview below:

The idea of it being a permanent situation is one that people can't really grasp. Most of the adverse reactions are from women.

It's a situation of not having role models and not being raised to believe that you can't do it. When you grow up you realise that it's not true. It's a matter of changing your mindset.

Vus Ngxande, single father and graphic designer

The main difference between a single father and a man who doesn't stay with his children or one who doesn't have children is simply how they structure their lives.

Vus Ngxande, single father and graphic designer

The reality is that most fathers who are primary caregivers is they have a completely seperate life from their love lives, chances are you wouldn't meet the child
