Axed Idols judge Gareth Cliff has started his court battle against broadcaster M-Net over his dismissal from the reality show.
The TV and radio personality wants to have Idols auditions halted, until his dismissal as an idols judge is reversed.
EWN reporter Dineo Bendile on Tuesday said that Advocate Dali Mpofu argued that the case is about contractual obligations and not race.
