Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza spoke out about his long absence from office in a recent interview and claims that he was poisoned in 2015.
Mabuza was out of the public eye for several months, leading to questions about his health status.
Sowetan's Moipone Malefane said Mabuza alleges that he was poisoned after eating food at a public birthday celebration in Bushbuckridge last year August.
