South African Rugby Union (Saru) CEO Jurie Roux reportedly manipulated financial management accounts to the benefit of Stellenbosch University's rugby programme during his tenure.
A preliminary report by audit firm KPMG revealed that Roux concealed close to R35 million belonging to university prior to his dismissal.
Netwerk 24's Peter du Toit on Thursday quoted from the forensic report which he described as 'damning'.

The report says that the financial systems of the university were manipulated by J Roux from 2002 to 2010 to reallocate reserves of funds to create irregular and unauthorised funding totaling R35 milllion for expenditure for the rugby club, players and other items.— Peter du Toit, Head of news at Netwerk 24
