Nando's chicken portions are exactly the same size as they have been for the past 20 years. This is according to chief executive officer in Southern Africa Geoff Whyte.
We are talking about live animals here. There is a little bit variation in size, probably a maximum difference, from biggest to smallest, of a couple of 100 grams.— Geoff Whyte, Nando's CEO in Southern Africa
Whyte also dismisses changes in tastes and accusations of adding sauces only once the meat is cooked.
We only use fresh South African chicken of best quality. It's never frozen. And everything that you buy from Nando's has been marinated for the minimum of 24 hours, and again that also hasn't changed.— Geoff Whyte, Nando's CEO in Southern Africa
