Guptas are the 'elephant in the room' - Solly Mapaila

SACP Deputy General Secretary, Solly Mapaila reportedly said the Guptas were the "elephant in the room" referring to the controversial relationship between President Jacob Zuma and the influential Gupta family.

Xolani Gwala on Monday spoke to Mapaila and Oakbay Investments' Nazeem Howa about the relationship in question.

Mapaila confirmed that he believes the rumours that there is a dubious relationship between the Zuma and the Gupta families and that this speaks to "ethical corruption".

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive of Oakbay Investments (owned by the Guptas), Nazeem Howa, challenged Mapaila to provide evidence of any wrongdoing by the Guptas.
