The story of the 702lander who got a telephone number too similar to 702's

Sandton resident Vuyiswa Mutshekwane gets at least three callers a day who mistakenly phone her at home. That's because her number differs from the 702's call-in number by just one digit!

She says she feels like a shadow member of the 702 team because people get very excited when they get through so quickly. And while tempted to let people get their thoughts out into the open without saying anything, she always breaks the bad news...

Vuyiswa doesn't know it but things could be worse... as Gauteng's biggest Talk station, the studio line gets around 2000 calls per day!

After 702's digital team picked up on her tweet, Weekend Breakfast's Sam Cowen and Africa Melane called her up to thank her for being such a good sport... she ended the call giving advice to those avid callers listening to the programme...

People need to concentrate and look at the keypad while dialling!
