Senior Counsel, Lindi Nkosi-Thomas on Tuesday became a hot topic on social media during her representation on behalf of National Assembly Speaker, Baleka Mbete, in the Consitutional Court hearing against President Zuma.
While some have expressed shock at her pronouncements, others have empathised with her.
It's embarrassing that the Chief Justice should be explaining con law 101 to Adv Lindi Nkosi-Thomas. @ThuliMadonsela3 tries not to laugh. 😨— Eusebius McKaiser (@Eusebius) February 9, 2016
Nkosi-Thomas became a non-executive director at SAA in 2013. However, she resigned in February 2014 amid accusations of doctoring a legal document during her tenure on the SAA Board.
In May 2015, she chaired an Inquiry into the fitness of Mxolisi Nxasana to hold office as the national director of public prosecutions. The Inquiry was then shut down by President Zuma in an alleged 'golden handshake' for Nxasana.
