This doctor takes quality healthcare directly to people - Dr Dulcy Rakumakoe

After witnessing a doctor consulting patients from his car in Vryburg, Dr Dulcy Rakumakoe immediately recognised an opportunity to open a private practice.

She says she was alarmed at the proportion of physical violation of people queuing in the street to get medical attention.

Her company, Accessible Quality Healthcare (AQH), offers accessible and affordable healthcare in low- to middle-income areas through establishing integrated health centres in areas where they are most needed.

I knew I wanted to be a doctor from a very young age and this is how I chose my subjects in high school
