MTN spokesperson Chris Maroleng says the intermittent issues that were affecting customers for the past two days have been resolved.
MTN will be paying back 400 000 of the 1 million subscribers affected. Compensation will be in the form of 1 gig of data that will be given back.— MTN Spokesperson, Chris Maroleng.
The cellular company experienced major network problems on Sunday night, which affected at least one million customers trying to use the internet on their cellphones.
Maroleng added that customers who could not make or take back SMSes will receive five free SMSes.
MTN has since apologised to the affected subscribers.
