Mine management at Vantage Goldfields, Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (AMCU), and international geologists were locked down in talks about how to proceed on the mission to rescue three workers who have been trapped underground for twelve days at the Lily Mine.
John Robbie on Thursday spoke to the CEO of Vantage Goldfields, Mike McChestney, about what the current state of the rescue mission is.
McChestney said the mission has been delayed as they look into creating a second outlet to get to the container, emphasising the safety of the rescuers.
