Did Zuma hit the nail on the head?

President Jacob Zuma "played the elder statesman" in his reply to the State of the Nation Address debate, according to Prof Richard Calland.

However, the assessment of Zuma's "measured" speech differs from one South African to the other.

Mark Heywood, standing in for Redi Tlhabi, on Friday asked listeners what they thought of Zuma's reply.

Listen to the conversation below:

I find nothing wrong about things he may have said yesterday, but he has caused us enough damage. If he is man enough he'll understand that he has caused enough damage... When you're dealing with Jacob Zuma you don't know what to expect tomorrow; maybe the worst is still to come.
