This week on Technobyte we are live in Barcelona have all the latest news on the new LG G5, the Samsung S7 and all the big announcements from the Mobile World Congress.

LG launched their flagship device called the G5. They have reinvented their design by introducing an all-metal design with some interesting new innovations including a wide-angle camera and a fingerprint scanner. The phone is slightly smaller than the G4 but feels solid and slick in your hands. LG also introduced a modular enhancement with the ability to change the battery with slide out battery on the bottom of the phone. LG also announced a range of accessories with the new G5 including LG 360 VR glasses, a 360-degree camera, audio enhancements with Bang and Olufsen

Samsung launched the S7 and the S7 Edge. Building on the success of the S6 and S6 Edge the new Samsung devices feature has a more refined design; better camera, processing power and waterproofing have been added. Samsung also announced a 360-degree camera and their Gear VR headsets for consuming and creating virtual reality content. The new devices will be available on the 11th of March.

Huawei unveiled the MateBook on Sunday, its first 2-in-1 tablet that aims to challenge Apple, Lenovo and Samsung, as the Chinese technology giant looks to new areas to advance the growth of its consumer devices business.

The MateBook is a tablet with a detachable keyboard much like Apple's iPad Pro, and runs Microsoft's latest operating system Windows 10. It was launched at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Huawei's latest device features:

A 12 inch display
5 megapixel front camera
512 gigabytes of storage
Fingerprint sensor
