UFS using transformation programme to challenge racism

University of the Free State is using their transformation programme for students to challenge racism and repair the university's dented reputation.

702's Azania Mosaka speaks to University of the Free State's vice rector, Dr Choice Makhetha, regarding the issue.

Listen to the conversation below:

Dr Choice Makhetha, Vice Rector at University of the Free State

Dr Choice Makhetha, Vice Rector at University of the Free State

I can tell you now that we have a very progressive at Council here at the university. But these processes also take long.

Dr Choice Makhetha, Vice Rector at University of the Free State

A lot of students used to take this programme lightly, until they realised that you can't graduate until you've completed the course.
