Transgender children are less accepted by adults than other children. This is according to Ron Addinall, a clinical social worker, sexologist and lecturer at the University of Cape Town (UCT)'s Social Development Department.

Addinall shared how he often has to debunk fears parents of transgender children have, and of the critical need to provide strong support structures for transgender children.
