Beefing up Brand SA and selling it to investors

Finance Minister, Pravin Gordhan held a briefing yesterday to report back on his investor roadshow in London and the US last week. In his briefing, he highlighted that we have many things going for us in South Africa and that we need to communicate that.

He has asked that SA sell itself better to investors, in light of the visit by Moody's later this week.

Brand expert and CEO at Ignitive Ad agency, Muzi Kuzwayo spoke to John Robbie about the perception of South Africa; promoting Brand South Africa and the role of the media.

The problem is we're trapped in a quagmire of negativity and everyday its worsened by this thunderstorm of shock and bad news. It's difficult to be positive in that kind of environment.
