Must watch: Biopic about Solomon Mahlangu

The newly released Solomon Mahlangu biopic, Kalushi tells the gripping tale of the MK cadre, who was executed by hanging in 1979. He was arrested on charges of murder and terrorism in 1977.

Directed by first-time director, Mandla Dube and released after 9 years of conception.

702's John Robbie spoke to Thabo Rametsi, who plays the role Solomon Mahlangu in the film.

We had a whole year of delay in shooting (we ran out of budget) and for it to come out at this time is serendipitous.
