'Zuma will have to explain Nene sacking at NEC' - Stephen Grootes

This week has been a tough one for the ANC, where they have found themselves fielding accusations of undue influence on the state decision-making by the Gupta family.

At the same time, Deputy Minister of Finance, Mcebisi Jonas came out with claims that the Gupta family offered him Nene's job of Finance Minister in December. Several other MPs have come out subsequently in support of these claims.

President Zuma faced a question and answer session in Parliament yesterday where he had to answer tough questions about Nene's sacking and the Gupta family influence. Watch the President's reaction here.
