Gaming a growing career path in South Africa

The introduction of more degree courses in recent years has resulted in the growth of gaming as a career option in South Africa.

Speaking to Gugs Mhlungu and Sizwe Dhlomo on #NightTalk, Nola Payne, the head of ICT at the Independent Institute of Education, says that the 21st century has presented new fields of study with significant career prospects, which did not exist five years ago. Gaming is an example of this, with more universities in the country offering fields of study which directly prepare students for careers in gaming.
