This author says children are given to many choices.

Victorine Mbong Shu, Author and CEO of Profounder Intelligence Management Services, author of parenting book 'Stop Complaining! and Bring Back Involved Parenting' chats about why she thinks it would be good if parents, caregivers and guardians make it a point to be involved in their children’s lives in every sphere.

Victorine Mbong Shu calls on parents to sit down and scrutinise what they themselves are doing wrong that is empowering our children to behave badly.

And when they are born, we start teaching them what we want them to be. In the process we are knowingly willing them the power of an adult when they are still children...and the first thing we give our child is the power of decision making.

Victoria says we allow them as babies to have too many choices.

I have four children. I have never let them decide on meals.

Victorine Mbong Shu, Author and CEO of Profounder Intelligence Management Services

She says we live in a world where parents are forever on the run. But she believes that if parents negotiate with their kids at a very early age then it becomes easier later on. If they are trained from the time they are babies, she says, it becomes very easy.
