New Commissioner to sweep Compensation Fund clean

It was reported that the Department of Labour's R52-billion fund, which is supposed to pay the medical bills of employees who are injured due to work hazard, was in a state of 'disarray and collapse'.

Newly-appointed commissioner of the Department of Labour’s Compensation Fund, Vuyo Mafata says there have been slight but visible improvements in the administration of workers' compensation funds.

John Robbie spoke to Mafata about what his turnaround strategy is for the fund.
