Struggle veterans call for civil action on Freedom Day in a bid to remove Zuma
A group of civil society and ANC veterans have called for Freedom Day on 27th April, to be used by members of the public to fight for the Constitution.
The leaders have called for a civil protest to unseat Jacob Zuma.
Speaking to Xolani Gwala, former Constitutional Court judge, Justice Zak Yacoob said that the ANC must no longer look at legalities and look rather at their conscience.
This is the beginning of a process of organising to get more people in the public sector to realise how immoral Jacob Zuma is and how bad he is for our country.Zak Yacoob, Former Constitutional Court judge
This is an effort to ensure that the ANC begins to understand it cannot go along with the kind of dishonest, immoral, corruption that Zuma is involved in and that it is for the good of the country to get rid of him.Zak Yacoob, Former Constitutional Court judge
