The Friday Stand-In 2016

Michael Jordaan swung well on a "Zuma-free Friday" as a #FridayStandIn

From the unexpected variety of callers during the open line, the Naked Scientist through to discussing wine, it appears that 'Mr self-professed wine enthusiast', doesn't only have a mind for financials!

Michael Jordaan was the man in charge of the airwaves during the Redi Tlhabi show. Click here to know more about this giant, who is, among other things, the former CEO of the First National Bank.

He kicked-off the show calmly like a pro, inviting listeners to call in and share their views on any issue of the day. He followed John Robbie's mood of a 'Zuma-free Friday', asking people to talk about other important issues in our country, and avoid the 'Z' word, which has dominated the airwaves lately.

Check out our Facebook photo gallery of Michael in action, and quotes from the open line.

Like other previous Stand-ins, Michael spent the second hour of the show talking about an issue close to his heart- the power of small businesses.

He flew so well and Twitter was blown away...

He closed-off the show by talking about the wine industry in South Africa, drawing on some interesting insights from his family's wine farm....

And, before he knew it, it was over! He says he loved every minute of minute, and with such a huge smile, we know he is not lying! Watch him below....
