The Gauteng province continues to be the country's highest paying province, according to the Career Junction's newly released salary review.
According to the review, the main reason for this, is because most business lies in Gauteng. Looking at skills in senior level salaries, the three industries that stand out are the engineering, ICT and finance industries.
Gugu and Sizwe looked closely at the review with Odile Badenhorst, Communications Manager at Career Junction. Badenhorst says there are certainly loads of opportunities for the youth of today, especially those who qualify for BEE.

When analyzing over 150 thousands jobs, among the top ten sectors, we found interesting trends including that Gauteng pays more- on average Gauteng pays more about 10%-5% more across the few industries.— Odile Badenhorst, communications manager, Career Junction
There were few industries that spark out and those include the financial, engineering,admin and sales sectors. And what we found is that it's highly based on demand.
