Caster Semenya makes triple athletics history in 400m, 800m and 1500m races

South African athlete, Caster Semenya, made history by winning the 400m, 800m and 1500m races at Stellenbosch, all in one day.

Semenya made international sporting headlines when she became 2009 Olympic World Champion for South Africa.

702's John Robbie spoke to her regarding her recent accomplishments and the way forward for her.

At the moment, we are just trying to balance our speed and endurance. I'm done with injuries and I'm good.

Caster is currently pursuing her studies. She says it's not easy to balance her academic commitments with her athletic career.

I don't think there's much of an improvement needed, we just need to strengthen our legs, that's all.
