China executes civil servants who take bribes of $463 000 or more

According to a statement released by Chinese judicial authorities, 3 million renminbi (or $463 000) is enough money taken in bribes for Chinese authorities to execute a civil servant.

Anything less than $463 000 gets away with a lengthy jail sentence.
