Warren visits the Oracle of Omaha

Whitfield & Ingram mimic Buffett & Gates (or at least try!)

It's a highlight at the annual Berkshire Hathaway Annual General Meeting - company CEO Warren Buffett, now the 4th richest man in the world but a former newspaper paperboy himself, challenges wealthy contenders to a newspaper throwing contest. Bill Gates has reportedly been embarrassed in past years, but in 2015, Gates won fair and square... watch the video below...

The newspaper toss is one of the promotional highlights of the annual general meeting of the Berkshire Hathaway Group, valued by Forbes.com as the fifth largest public company in the world. The event takes place in Omaha, Nebraska as a popularly referred to as the "Woodstock of Capitalism". Around 38 000 people attend the event at the CenturyLink Center, accessible on that day only to shareholders and special invitees. The meeting, which generally lasts around six hours, is an opportunity for investors to ask Buffett questions and hear "The Oracle of Omaha" dispense his thoughts on a range of issues.

This year we have secured a ticket to the Berkshire Hathaway annual general meeting - thanks to sponsor Standard Bank Wealth and Investment!

But who to send? Bruce Whitfield and resident Personal Finance expert Warren Ingram decided this opportunity could only be decided one way...

Stay tuned to The Money Show for updates from Warren attending the Berkshire Hathway AGM - courtesy of Standard Bank Wealth and Invesment.
