Warren visits the Oracle of Omaha

28 hours of transit sees Warren Ingram at the Nebraska Furniture Mart

It takes a long time to get to Omaha, Nebraska - but Warren Ingram insists the trip is worth it. For this weekend, at least. Faced with the prospect of the Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholders meeting tomorrow, Ingram is ready to take in as many business insights as possible from company CEO Warren Buffett.

In the meantime, as is traditional with the event, Ingram is visiting just one of the many Berkshire Hathaway companies being promoted during the weekend festivities.

The Nebraska Furniture Mart sounds like the United Nations at the moment with all the accents, and all the interesting dress styles etcetera. It's a very cosmopolitan gathering, and this isn't even the main event.

Listen to Warren's chat with Ray White, standing in on The Money Show...

Asked what he thinks would be on the agenda at the shareholders meeting, Ingram gives a great insight into the breadth of content covered - it could be about America's resilience in times of global downturn or it could be about the current Presdiential race and which candidates offer the best economic policies.

It's unscripted... you'll find 80 or 90 questions being asked... and very often it's those moments that really unravel those pearls of wisdom that you weren't expecting.

While the meeting will be live streamed for the first time, Ingram is aware of the pressure he will be on to distill what is said into sound investment strategy...

It's almost an MBA course in 5 or 6 hours, and that's what makes this long trip worthile!
