A man of amazing talent: The Singing Nurse

The LA Times has dubbed singing nurse, Jared Axen of Valencia Hospital in California "a different and amazing Nurse".

Axen says that he started singing to his patients when he received requests from patients who heard him as he walked the hospital corridors belting out old love songs and Broadway hits.

Soon, serenading the sick became part of his daily rounds, gaining him the nickname "The Singing Nurse.”

The LA Times created this video of Axen busy with his rounds:

Sam Cowen is fascinated by Axen's rare combination of talents and how he's chosen to use them to change people's lives.

Tune into _The Sam Cowen Show _at 2pm this afternoon to hear Axen's conversation with Sam all the way from California.
