The Friday Stand-In 2016

Siyabonga Metane aka Slikour 'redi' for #FridayStandIn

Slikour is a rapper, songwriter, artist and TV presenter. This chilled and ambitious musician originally from Katlehong, is one of the brains behind the well-known hip-hop group, Skwatta Kamp.

When asked to describe himself for people who don't know him personally, Slikour hardly uses titles. 'I'm just a normal guy trying to figure it all out', is likely to be his answer.

In 2005 Slikour released his first album, Ventilation Mixtape Vol.1, followed by Ventilation Mixtape Vol. 2 in 2007.

He started his career as a TV presenter hosting the SABC1 music entertainment show Jam Alley Crew vs Crew.

Slikour is also a business man, currently in the kombi taxi and music businesses.
