Madiba's driver is one of beneficiaries of his inheritance

Former Deputy Chief Justice, Dikgang Moseneke, an executor of Nelson Mandela's estate, says executors are ready to distribute assets to beneficiaries.

Moseneke held a briefing at the Nelson Mandela Foundation to inform the public on the progress of the late Former President Nelson Mandela's estate.

Among the beneficiaries, is Michael Maponya, Madiba's driver.

The education sector got a big chunk, with schools in Qunu and Orlando West, along with University of Fort Hare and Wits University set to receive a portion.

Moseneke says he is confident that the executors have fulfilled Madiba's wishes.

One of the people who accepted a cheque today was his former driver, Michael Maponya. He was looking after people who looked after him.
