Public Protector Thuli Madonsela and Auditor-General Thembekile Kimi Makwetu attended a conference hosted by the Ethics Institute in Wanderers, Johannesburg.
Both leaders discussed the importance of ethical courage in the face of bribery and corruption in South Africa.
EWN's Gia Nicolaides reports that Makwetu called on the country's leadership to restore national order.
He urged government, public servants and heads of institutions to challenge their own attitudes, and use honesty to lead by example.
He says that leaders, not just in the executive, need to emulate those who live with courage.

Makwetu praised Madonsela for being an ethical leader.
