South African shared their views about the new kids on the block, after Redi Tlhabi posed the same question about the African National Congress (ANC) and the Democratic Alliance (DA) on previous days.

702/Cape Talk's Redi Tlhabi gave listeners an opportunity to share their thoughts regarding the issue.

Listen to the conversation below:

Maxwell, caller in Pretoria

A caller highlighted the dramatic economic meltdown in Venezuela under socialist economic policies.

Please, I hope South Africans will wake up... Look at Venezuela in their red berets...They always talk about revolutionary.

Jacob, caller in Boksburg

They lack intelligent tactics... I need somebody who implements what they are saying.

Eddie, caller in Pretoria

Callers expressed their discomfort with the party's economic policies and Malema's history as the ANC Youth League's president.

Julius and his team act on emotion and are a little too impatient to be leaders in South Africa, with the amount of competition ahead.

Tyrone, caller in Durbanville

Malema reminds me of Mugabe, he sounds like a dictator when he talks and he scares me.

Mduduzi, caller in Vereeniging
