Intercape rescues 38 Malawians stranded on a bus for a month

Intercape has sponsored a bus to a group of 38 Malawians to assist them on trip to Rwanda after their bus broke down on a trip to Rwanda, leaving them stranded.

The MEC of Social Development also sponsored plane tickets to a couple who delivered twins on board.

702's John Robbie spoke to organiser of the trip, Brave, regarding their troubles.

The bus arrived yesterday, we are just waiting for the paperwork today. We are supposed to leave at 9 o'clock.

The owner of the bus was apprehended by police on Thursday.
