Are waist training corsets effective?

Waist training corsets are increasingly popular for people who wish to trim their waist line and achieve their ultimate figure. But are they safe and effective?

Biokineticist Habib Noorbhai says that there has not been consensus on whether waist training corsets are effective for the majority of people who use them.

Noorbhai believes that waist training corsets are a quick fix, and are not necessarily effective in helping people to achieve their health fitness goals.

Noorbhai spoke to #NightTalk's Gugs Mhlungu and Sizwe Dhlomo.
