An estimated 6.3 million people were living with HIV in South Africa in 2013, making it the biggest and most high profile HIV epidemic in the world.
On top of that, South Africa has the largest anti retroviral treatment programme globally.
According to clinical sexologist, Dr Eve, we are not winning at changing behaviour amongst the youth because the numbers keep escalating.
She questioned where young people can go to get the education they desperately need.
She says the most researched topics online by young people are drug use, sexual health and depression.

The reason they go online is because there is no embarrassment, they don't feel intimidated and they don't risk their parents having to find out about their concerns— Dr Eve, clinical sexologist
Dr Eve says it is unsettling that so much ignorance abounds for young people when it comes to sexual health because their parents don't take time to educate them about sex.
