ANC KZN chair says cabinet reshuffle to ensure coherence between ANC and state

ANC KZN chairperson, Sihle Zikalala, says the cabinet reshuffle in KwaZulu-Natal was done to ensure that ANC decisions are implemented within government.

He says ANC's decisions should be taken 'with immediate effect and with no interpretation'.

It was necessary to ensure that there is more coherence between the ANC and government.

It was also necessary to seek that transformation agenda, to ensure that what was decided by the ANC is pursued with vigor at the level of government.

Zikalala, who is now the MEC of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, denies reports that there is factional politics in the province.
