Gauteng Health intervenes on mortuary crisis after several complaints from staff

Gauteng Health is being forced to intervene to resolve an ongoing conflict between senior staff members at one of South Africa's busiest mortuaries in Johannesburg, according to EWN reporter, Alex Eliseev.

Eliseev says some of the staff members say they are now ‘desperate’ after repeatedly lodging complaints against the principal specialist.

These are not slight accusations. It's accusations that she has threatened to kill her colleagues and that he has created a toxic environment, there has been intimidation and insubordination. And it all boils down to service delivery problems at the mortuary.
