What makes South Africa a great place to live?

A Global Perceptions Survey has revealed that South Africans are pessimistic about the country, especially after the FIFA 2010 World Cup.

The survey, which was conducted by the Reputation Institute and launched at the Wits Business School, ranks the 70 countries based on a broad range of factors including governance, business environment, friendliness and safety.

702's Azania Mosaka asked listeners to share what it is they like about South Africa.

Listen to the interview below:

South Africa is alive with tons of opportunity. You turn to every little corner, people are moaning, complaining about corruption, teenage pregnancy... There are so many problems there but I look at these problems and find solutions for them.

Teboho, caller in Alberton

South Africa is great and what makes the country great are the people... There's a lot of opportunities in this country, we just need to develop them.

Delora, caller in Boksburg
