'Community members have accepted the decision of the ANC'- Thoko Didiza

ANC mayoral candidate for the City of Tshwane, Thoko Didiza, says opportunists have been spreading lies, that cause unnecessary anxiety and vulnerability to community members.

There were individuals who packaged lies, that created anxieties and vulnerabilities among members of the community, particularly those who have been on the programme part of Public Works. They were told that when current mayor comrade Sputla leaves office these programmes are going to seize to exist; plan lies.

Didida says it would be unfair to say the Tshwane protests broke out because of her appointment.

She says the ANC has consulted the branches, and community members have accepted her as the mayoral candidate for the metro.
