Screen Junkies have made a special Oscar edition to show you some old footage of Oscar nominee's before they were famous. Ethan Hawke is a child and Bradley Cooper is trying to get advice from Sean Penn.

This week Microsoft announced Windows 10 would be available later this year. They also introduced a new gadget - the Hololens. A pair of glasses that project 3D images into your surroundings.

First there was Google Glass and Occulus Rift, now the Hololens, each a little different but likely to start changing the way we interact with the world around us.

Researchers at the University of Rochester found that they could alter the way water would interact with metal depending on the patterns they etched onto it. Their first experiment made water stick to the metal, but this week they unveiled the laser etched pattern that would completely repel water. Imagine a phone you can't get wet. Imagine aircraft wings that can't get iced up and even cars that will need a lot less cleaning.
