People less dissatisfied with local govt - David Makhura

Gauteng residents have rated the local and provincial government's performance in the Gauteng City-Region Observatory (GCRO).

The survey looks into the quality of life of residents and their satisfaction with service delivery issues.

702's John Robbie spoke to Gauteng premier, David Makhura, regarding how the survey serves as a performance management mechanism.

This survey has been a very important indicator of how the people of Gauteng are feeling and how they are assessing the work of government, particularly with local government.

The level of dissatisfaction with local government and provincial government has gone down, compared to 2014.
