Exclusive Books readies for fight to remain in airports

It seems as though it was set up specifically to bid for the site we occupy.

Exclusive Books is battling to keep its stores in the OR Tambo and Cape Town airports.

It is now preparing for another round in court against the Airports Company SA (Acsa).

Acsa awarded the tender for the bookstore in June 2014 to Amger Retailing, founded just two days after the request for bids.

Exclusive Books successfully challenged Acsa in the High Court a month later.

Acsa’s appeal will now be heard in September.

The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Exclusive Books MD Benjamin Trisk.
