Family matters: Children need to learn an entrepreneurial mindset for the future

With the state of the world economy and the changing world of work, entrepreneurship is no longer just about starting and running your own business.

It is becoming a state of mind that more and more people need to adopt and cultivate, particularly our children.

They are a generation who are entering the world of work at a time of great flux and change.

Many of the jobs they will do have not yet been invented and many of our children will have to create their own jobs, reinventing employment as we know it.

To discuss how to instill an entrepreneurial mindset in children, we have our creative parenting expert, Nikki Bush who is the co-author of the best-selling book, Future-Proof Your Child and Allon Raiz, founder of Raizcorp, the biggest privately funded business incubator in Africa.

Allon Raiz has written two best-selling books on entrepreneurship, What to Do When You Want to Give Up and Lose the business plan. He is also the host of The Big Small Business Show on Business Day TV.
